What is RO e-Transport, and why is this critical for carriers?

While commercial parties (buyers, sellers, importers) legally generate the 16-character UIT code, the carrier is legally obligated to stream real-time GPS tracking data to ANAF while operating inside Romania. Our solution ensures the carrier automatically complies without asking drivers to run third-party apps or log into secondary systems.

Why don’t we need aftermarket tracking hardware or OBD dongles?

Our solution is built-in software, not aftermarket hardware. It runs on the vehicle’s original factory-installed telematics system (such as the native telematics gateway on Volvo Trucks). It eliminates broken cables, missing dongles, and warranty conflicts entirely.

Do our customers or dispatchers need to change how they book shipments?

No. Your clients, consignors, and partners will continue declaring consignments through the ANAF Virtual Private Space (SPV) exactly as they do today. Because our system treats ANAF SPV as the single source of truth, it queries and links the generated UIT codes to your truck’s registered license plate and telematics profile automatically.

What if our shippers and clients use different ERP or TMS software?

It does not matter. The Romanian regulation mandates that all declarants submit their shipments to ANAF SPV, regardless of whether they use SAP, Oracle, or local transport management systems.
