No legitimate employer will ask you to pay fees, purchase equipment, or cover processing costs as part of hiring.

Never share your SSN, bank account details, or copies of government IDs until after a verified, formal offer letter is received.

(6) Report to authorities if victimized
File a report with the FTC at
